5 Steps to Starting Your CNC Milling Project

1.

Submit Your Request

Start your CNC Milling project by sending us a detailed enquiry for CNC milling. Please include any CAD files, material preferences, tolerances, quantities, and any other technical requirements to info@dynamicdie.co.uk so our team can assess your project accurately.

2.

Review & Quotation

Once we receive your enquiry, our engineers carry out a full Design for Manufacturability (DFM) review to ensure your parts can be produced efficiently and reliably. We then provide a clear, itemised quotation outlining costs, lead times, and the full scope of work.

3.

Precision CNC Milling

After approval, your components enter production. Using advanced 3–5 axis CNC milling equipment, we manufacture your parts to exact specifications. Additional finishing processes can be applied as required.

4.

Quality Control & Final Inspection

Every part undergoes strict quality checks and final inspection before dispatch. Our QC procedures ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and overall quality meet the highest industry standards.

Our CNC Milling Capabilities

CNC milling enables the accurate machining of complex parts for a wide range of industries. At Dynamic Die Ltd, we support everything from early-stage prototyping to full-scale production.

Prototypes & Small Batch Work

Our precision milling services are ideal for one-off prototypes and low-volume batches, helping you validate designs quickly and cost-effectively.

Metals

CNC milling is highly effective for manufacturing both prototypes and end-use metal components. We work with a wide range of engineering metals, including:

Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Stainless Steels (304, 316, 420, 440C), Tool Steels, Mild Steel, Titanium, Inconel (625, 718), Hastelloy, Magnesium, Zinc.

Medical Components

We produce intricate, high-precision components used in medical equipment and device assemblies, where reliability and accuracy are essential.

Moulding & Tooling Components

Our CNC expertise allows us to manufacture detailed tooling and mould components, including complex geometries required for casting and injection moulding.

Plastic & Metal Valves

Valves often require exceptionally precise machining due to their internal geometry. Our team can mill valve components from a wide range of plastics and metals using advanced multi-axis CNC technology.

Materials We Commonly Machine

We work with an extensive selection of engineering materials, and we also machine customer-supplied stock if preferred.

Plastics

Ideal for prototypes and functional testing, plastic machining allows detailed evaluation of form, fit, and function. We commonly machine:
ABS, PC, PEEK, POM, Acrylic (PMMA), PTFE.

Other Materials

We also machine a wide range of alloys and specialist materials on request. If you don’t see your preferred material listed, simply let us know.
